The aim of the research group is to conduct high standard independent interdisciplinary research on different fields of information society issues as part of the national network.

For example research on the trends of the information technology revolution and its social, economic, cultural and political impact. On the other hand, ITOK should use the results of the research in different ways giving scientific, economic and human answers. These researches should help develop a more humane technology that is a technology, which is easier to understand for ordinary people. Also, it enables an increasing awareness for the questions of the information society. Apart from being researchers, they take the role of the project manager and advisor.
